EAGLE COACH COMPANY INTRODUCES EVOLUTIONARY NEW PROFESSIONAL VEHICLES AND FEATURES

Amelia, OH—Eagle Coach Company is proud to announce the next step in the evolution of the funeral coach: the Eagle Echelon.  The new coach brings modern styling to the already-established Eagle pillars of quality and innovation.  The Echelon not only represents a hallmark of funeral coach modernization, it also stands at the forefront of a series of exciting new professional vehicles and features Eagle is unveiling in the coming months.

The Echelon updates, even further, the elegance of Eagle’s funeral coach product lineup with an all-new contemporary style.  It is built with a one-piece body and roof cap that is painted as opposed to the standard vinyl covering.  In addition, the body is constructed from composite materials, for a durable, never-rust finish.

The Echelon’s unique glass insert roof and sloping rear windows allow for extra light on the interior of this contemporary limousine-styled funeral coach.  Other features include a stainless steel flush mount landau bows, exterior opera lights, polished aluminum drip rails, and waterfall-styled interior wheel well covers.  Further, each Echelon coach comes standard with an integrated urn enclave, as well as six directionally mounted, ceiling accent lights for increased interior illumination and functionality.

The Echelon fuses traditional elegance with contemporary flair.   The limited edition coach is available for order now, with deliveries beginning in the Spring 2008 timeframe.

In addition to the new Echelon coach, Eagle is also launching the Echelon-L, a professional six-door limousine with the modernism of the Echelon line, that along with the Echelon coach, maintains the crisp styling of the Cadillac DTS.  The Echelon-L is manufactured with a 46-inch wheelbase extension for optimum legroom, and a 4-inch raised roof that allows for greater interior headroom and comfort.  It also features a painted top, polished aluminum drip rails, as well as exterior opera lights.  Funeral directors who embrace the all-new, contemporary Echelon coach will find that the Echelon-L is the perfect coach mate for their professional vehicle fleet.

The Echelon-L is yet another industry-leading step forward from Eagle Coach Company.  It will be available in limited numbers from mid November through December 2007, with full-scale production commencing in January 2008.

This Fall, Eagle is also introducing a new first call vehicle.  It comes on the new contemporarily-styled Chrysler Town & Country LX and Touring vans, but maintains the same features and functionality the industry has come to expect from Eagle Coach Company.  The new 2008 Town & Country first call vehicle is highly versatile and may function, not only for first call use, but also as a standard funeral coach.  The new stow-and-go seats also allow for easy convertibility.  Eagle is taking orders for this first call vehicle now, and it is available for immediate delivery.

Moreover, Eagle is also proud to announce exciting new features that continue the evolution of its signature flower car, the Coupe de Fleur.  The new 2008 Coupe de Fleur is now available with a fully appointed cloth or leatherette interior identical in every respect to the Eagle Ultimate funeral coach.  Other features include a Formica floor, stylish shadowboxes on the interior landau panels, and waterfall-styled ledge board covers.  Like all of Eagle’s new vehicles, the Coupe de Fleur is also very versatile – the standard, integrated urn enclave enables use for cremations, as well as traditional casketed services.

In addition to these new, evolutionary professional vehicles and features, Eagle continues to offer funeral directors and livery professionals the highest quality products on the market today.  They include the Premier, combining Eagle’s exclusive limousine-style coach window, with all the amenities you demand; the Ultimate, designed to include all of the most sought-after features in a coach that is built to last; and the Kingsley, which boasts many of the Ultimate’s features at one of the most reasonable prices in the industry.  Eagle will continue to offer the Regency six-door limousines with a standard height, vinyl covered roof.

Eagle Coach Company has always exemplified the industry standard in quality, innovation, style and service.  The new products and features for Fall 2007 and Winter 2008 represent yet another exciting step forward.  Eagle Coach Company is proud to once again lead the industry with evolutionary new features for an ever-changing funeral market

Like other vehicles, hearses are considered five-year property for depreciation purposes.  Because these vehicles are specifically excluded from the category of "listed property", they are not subject to the limit on the amount that can be written off as an expense in a particular year.  Therefore, the IRS will allow an immediate deduction of up to a $100,000. on a hearse under IRC Section 179.  This means that if you purchase a hearse for, say $80,000., you can write off $80,000. to expense on your business tax return in the year of acquisition.  Depending on circumstances, the Funeral Director or Livery Operator may prefer the other available depreciation methods.  Remember that the Section 179 deduction cannot reduce your net income in a particular year to less than $0.00.
